Clemson University's football program continues its recent success in recruiting with the addition of five-star wide receiver and top-10 overall recruit Bryant Wesco. The Midlothian, Texas native announced his commitment to Clemson on Tuesday, becoming the third player to join the Tigers' 2024 class in two days. Wesco's commitment comes after top-ranked linebacker Sammy Brown committed on Monday and four-star wide receiver TJ Moore on Tuesday morning.

Wesco, who was ranked as the nation’s No. 37 prospect and No. 8 wide receiver in the 247Sports Composite, chose Clemson over LSU, TCU, and Tennessee. He is expected to cancel his upcoming visits due to Coach Dabo Swinney's policy for committed prospects. Wesco and Moore are the first two wide receivers in Clemson's class, which has been bolstered by recent recruiting successes.

Wesco's on Board: Clemson's Winning Streak Continues

Clemson won national titles during the 2016 and 2018 seasons, and they now aim to return to the College Football Playoff for the first time since 2020. The addition of Wesco, along with Brown and Moore, has boosted Clemson up to the No. 8 position in the team recruiting rankings for the 2024 cycle.

Clemson's passing game struggled in the past two seasons, finishing 11th in the ACC in 2021 and sixth in 2022. Wesco and Moore will look to improve the offense and help return the team to its former level of production during their Playoff runs.

Overall, Wesco's commitment to Clemson is a significant win for the team and a testament to their recent recruiting efforts. The Tigers hope to continue this momentum and bring in more top prospects as they prepare for the upcoming season.
